Pazzo Southside: “Crazy Good” New York/Italian-American Food in Sarasota, FL (NEW Golden Palate)

 

Recently opened by husband and wife team Michael and Victoria D’Amato Calore, native New Yorkers who have gained a very loyal following in Sarasota with Mozzarella Fella on Main Street (which they recently sold to restaurateur from Rome), Pazzo Southside brings a much-needed dose of Italo-Americano comfort food done right (a-la New York) to Southside Village. Pazzo means “crazy” in Italian. The only thing “crazy” here is how good everything is. If you grew up Italian-American in a place like New York, you’ll understand. Pazzo brings the comfort and familiar flavors of Nonna’s kitchen to Sarasota.
