Veronica Fish & Oyster, by the Caragiulo family is a welcome addition to Southside Village in Sarasota, bringing a contemporary oyster bar with awesome crude plates and creative seafood and meat entrees to the space formerly occupied by Sam Snead’s. The atmosphere is a throwback to a neighborhood supper club, with friendly service and comfortable surroundings with sidewalk al fresco seating as well as at the large bar. Enjoy a large selection of craft cocktails, beers, and thoughtful wine list, a raw bar with six oyster selections (East and West Coasts) daily, and other fresh shellfish, such as stone crab claws in season.

Ahi Tuna Carpaccio with picholine, charred eggplant, tomato marmalade, mint, greek yogurt and preserved lemon.

Homemade Lobster Ravioli, surronded by tomato, lobster mushrooms, asperagus, and a touch of lobster foam.

Fresh warm potato rolls baked fresh daily, worth the splurge of calories and $3.00 for an order. Served with Bottarga Butter made with Gulf Coast Caviar’s locally, sustainably harvested Red Mullet Roe which is dried into bottarga!

Cobia Caprese crudo… Perfect light bite before an amazing dinner!

Coriander crusted yellowfin tuna, with thai coconut curry, rice noodles, carrots, cabbage, and ugar snap peas as a special!

Red Wine braised beef short ribs with a buttered carrot puree, and bacon wild mushroom ragout.

Tuna special…charred eggplant purée coconut milk risotto and snow pea salad.

Spiced Pork Tomahawk Chop with butternut squash risotto, grilled peaches and pomegranate

Redfish on the half shell, nice and light with a fresh herb salad
