Bistro Chez Jean-Pierre is both a Fred Bollaci Enterprises Preferred Destination. Chef and owner Jean-Pierre Leverrier and his wife, Nicole, opened the doors to Chez Jean-Pierre in 1991. Their younger son, Guillaume, cooks with his father, while their older son, David, runs the dining room with his mother, a true, hands-on family affair, and class-act establishment. The Leverrier family comes from Normandy, France, and the classic Northern French menu reflects their heritage.

Bistro Chez Jean-Pierre features hearty portions with elegant, yet simple presentations. The menu offers an incredible array of delicious appetizers and dinners, plus Chef Jean-Pierre’s handmade desserts such as the profiteroles. The award-winning, extensive wine list features 350 selections with an emphasis on France and America featuring something for every palate and budget to pair with their exceptional cuisine. Each variety is hand-picked by Sommelier David Leverrier. The ambience is warm and contemporary with beautiful modern artwork.

Located on the north end of the Island of Palm Beach, the Leverrier’s have created a casual-bistro atmosphere with a lovely, warm décor that makes diners feel comfortable and at home.  The staff is knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly.

The extensive menu features the following for appetizers: Classic French Onion Soup, Jean-Pierre’s Fish Soup, Duck Confit Salad, their famous Shiitake Mushroom Salad, Fresh Artichoke or Asparagus Vinaigrette, Caesar Salad, Green Beans, Asparagus, and Red Beets, Fresh Wianno (Cape Cod) Oysters, Homemade Boudin Blanc Sausage, Foie Gras, Scrambled Egg with Hackleback Caviar, Mussels Marnieres, Escargots, Duck Foie Gras Terrine, Homemade Lobster Ravioli, Lobster Risotto, and Smoked Salmon, among others.

Entrees include: Beef Short Ribs, Prime New York Strip, Prime Beef Tenderloin Steak Tartare, Veal Milanese, Prime Veal Chop, Dover Sole Meuniere, Yellowtail Snapper, Grilled “Loch Duart” Salmon, Lobster Fricassee with Lime and Sauternes, Roasted Duck with Thyme and Honey, Grilled Chicken Breast with Herbes de Provence, and Traditional Coq au Vin, among others. Jean-Pierre’s cuisine is casual, yet elegant, fresh, delicious, and exquisite.
