Forte dei Marmi: Stylish Italian Dining Straight from the Italian Coast by Two-Michelin Star Chef Antonio Mellino, Florida’s Newest Platinum Palate!

The newest addition to Miami’s increasingly hot culinary scene is the stylish Forte dei Marmi by acclaimed Chef Antonio Mellino, of Two-Michelin Star Quattro Passi in Nerano, Italy (on the Amalfi Coast). Mellino brings his culinary acumen and Italian style and sophistication to his chic new South Beach restaurant, with freshly procured and skillfully prepared highest quality local organic produce, farm-raised prime meats, and wild-caught seafood and fish, along with signature pasta dishes and a lavish Sunday brunch, and pastries and desserts all made in-house. Mellino and his son Raffaele bring showcase the sophisticated simplicity of Italian fine dining and slow food culture. The wine and cocktail program is focused on organic and biodynamic offerings.

Everything is beautifully presented.

Located on the southern tip of Miami Beach at 150 Ocean Drive, Forte dei Marmi’s 1938 Mediterranean-revival building has been meticulously renovated by local architect Chad Oppenheim. The restaurant’s contemporary aesthetic brings the allure of Italian beach culture — with particular inspiration drawn from the seaside resort Forte dei Marmi in northern Tuscany’s Lucca province to Florida.

The space is complemented by interiors that are a collaboration between Oppenheim and Milan-based designer Henry Timi. Together they have created an atmosphere of sophisticated simple beauty. The fragrant gardens and intimate landscape design envisioned by Enzo Enea further enhance the connection between these two seaside resorts.

Note: the Sunday Brunch for $55 includes the choice of an entree, plus a selection from the lavish antipasto buffet, as well as the dessert buffet, and is a great way to sample the exquisite cuisine at Forte dei Marmi. Enjoy the stylish dining room or dine al fresco.

Forte dei Marmi has been awarded the Fred Bollaci Enterprises’ Platinum Palate Certificate of Excellence by Fred Bollaci! For an absolutely authentic contemporary Italian dining experience in a stylish, international setting, you will love Forte dei Marmi!
