Haiku: Hitting the High Notes for Sushi, Sashimi, Ramen, and Gorgeous Japanese Cuisine and Cocktails in Downtown Tampa, Florida

One of the finest Japanese restaurants in Tampa Bay, Haiku is a favorite spot in Downtown Tampa, showcasing Japanese cuisine as art.

Haiku is an Asian Fusion concept featuring Izakaya style dishes, and recipes combining other Asian influences. A notable dining experience matched with a creative beverage menu including sakes, sangria, and hand-crafted cocktails.

Izakaya (居酒屋) (Japanese: [izakaja]) is a type of informal Japanese bar that serves alcoholic drinks and small plates. Izakayas are casual places for after-work drinking, similar to a British or Irish pub, Spanish tapas bars, and American saloons and taverns. Haiku is definitely my favorite Izakaya in Tampa!

Haiku’s mission as a restaurant is to deliver “Extreme Quality, Dedicated Service and beautiful Presentation, to make sure your every visit is a memorable one.” They definitely succeeded on my very first visit! Haiku has been awarded the Fred Bollaci Enterprises Golden Palate Certificate of Excellence, meaning it is highly recommended for excellent food, service, and atmosphere. See you in Tampa and tell them Fred Bollaci sent you!
