Serving dinner daily, The Italian Restaurant is everyone’s favorite place to “mangia” in a sophisticated, warm, relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere, while enjoying Italian & Italian-American favorites. Featuring Italian-style pizzas baked in a brick oven, a variety of fresh salads, freshly-made pastas and classics like lasagna, veal, and fresh seafood. This is Italian comfort food at good value – all in The Breakers unique style. The adjacent Family Entertainment Center (in full view from the restaurant) makes this the perfect spot for all ages.
Children can enjoy arcade games, arts and crafts and a big screen movie room while our recreation specialists float throughout the facility at all times, readily available to provide guest service. Toddlers and the pre-K crowd get their own special area. Even adults are welcome!
Favorite menu items include: Pasta e Fagioli with Ditalini Pasta, Pancetta, White Beans, and tomato, Roasted Brussel Sprouts with pancetta, garlic, Calabrian Chili, and Parmesan, Eggplant Rollatini, Buffalo Mozzarella Caprese with Heirloom Tomatoes, and Burrata to start.
The Italian Restaurant features an excellent Gorgonzola & Pear Salad with mixed greens, gorgonzola, caramelized onions, Bosc Pear, walnuts, tomatoes, and Pinot Grigio vinaigrette.
Meat entrees include a Veal Milanese with arugula, shaved fennel, tomatoes, Reggiano, and lemon vinaigrette (great combination), Chicken Scarpariello “shoemaker’s style” with sausage, onions, roasted peppers, and pasta, and Veal Chop Fiorentina with artichokes, fennel, peas, and lemon-butter sauce
Seafood dishes include: Shrimp Scampi over linguini, Branzino “Agro Dolce” (sweet & sour) with roasted fennel and cipollini onions, Yellowtail Snapper Piccata with lemon, white wine, capers, and spinach, Salmon with heirloom tomato confit, pickled fennel, wild arugula, and gremolata, and Snapper Mediterranean with tomato sauce, black olives, capers, onions, roasted peppers, garlic, and lemon-butter over linguini.
