Since 2006, The LakeHouse restaurant has been the jewel of Bay Shore, NY. Co-owners Eileen and Matthew Connors have upgraded from a cozy, yet elegant lakeside charmer to a brand new dockside treasure. With stunning views, comfortable seating for 100+ guests, two lounge areas, and gorgeous deck overlooking the Great South Bay, complete with a garden fire pit, The Lakehouse is considered one of the best restaurants on Long Island for exceptional cuisine, service, and location! At night, the deck is illuminated, as is the waterfront lounge area where guests can congregate for after-dinner cocktails. This New American fine dining experience is not to be missed. The Lakehouse can now be reached by boat as well, with guest dockage available at the new gorgeous bayside locale.

Highlights include: Raw Bar Selections of local “Lucky 13 Oysters,” Littleneck Clams, Maine Jonah Crab Claws, and Shrimp Cocktail. Starters include: Yellowfin Tuna Tartare, Smoked Nova Salmon and Crispy Potato Cake, Grilled Octopus Salad with Spanish Chorizo, Chick Pea Purée, Clementines, and Aged Sherry Vinegar, Handmade Lemon Pepper Fettuccine with Rock Shrimp, Razor Clams, Maine Crab, Zucchini, Ramps, and Jalapeño, and a selection of Artisanal Cheeses and Cured Meats.

Salad picks include: Organic Farm Green Salad with Candy-Stripe Beets, Goat Cheese, Candied Almonds, and Blood Orange Vinaigrette, and The Lakehouse Vegetable Salad with Creamed Chanterelles, Grilled Asparagus, Baby Arugula, Soft Poached Organic Egg, and Humboldt Fog Goat Cheese.


For entrees, try the Toasted Almond-Crusted Organic Irish Salmon with Sunchoke Purée, Honey – Glazed Butternut Squash, French Tarbais Beans, and Whole Grain Mustard Sauce, the Parmesan Crusted Cod with Littleneck Clams, Chorizo, Sautéed Calamari, Pequillo Pepper, Caramelized Local Sea Scallops with Favas, Ramps, Fingerling Potato, Spring Pea-Mint Sauce, Prosciutto, Pea Shoots, Seared Yellowfin Tuna with Cannellini Bean Puree, Roasted Fennel, Sweet Pequillo Pepper Coulis,and  Crispy Artichoke, Steamed East Coast Halibut with Jasmine Rice, Peanuts, Julienne Vegetables, and Lemongrass-Coconut Broth for seafood.

Land-lubbers will enjoy the Organic Herb-Roasted Chicken with Brioche, Mushroom, and Prosciutto Stuffing, Honey–Glazed Cipollini Onions, and Madeira Pan Gravy, Roasted Berkshire Pork Chop with Green Apple, Yam, Blue Cheese and Caramelized Onion Gratin, Maple-Bacon Vinaigrette, and Cranberry Mustard, Pepper-Crusted New Zealand Venison with Crispy Mustard Spaetzle, Raspberry Beer-Braised Cabbage, Parsnip Purée and Green Peppercorn-Cognac Jus, Herb-Marinated Angus Skirt Steak with Roasted Garlic Potato Purée, Gorgonzola Compound Butter, Red Wine and Shallot Jus, Crisp Long Island Duck Breast and Crisp Leg Confit with Apricot Wheatberry Pilaf, and Pomegranate-Pistachio Glaze, and Pan Roasted Prime Filet Mignon with Red Wine – Oxtail Risotto, Beef – Mushroom Ravioli and Winter Root Vegetables.
