Tiny but immensely popular, excellent New American-Med restaurant/bar by Chef Joey Campanaro with seasonally-updated menus featuring the best locally-available ingredients with a Mediterranean flair. Joey’s culinary acumen began by learning in his Italian grandmother’s kitchen (sounds familiar), and was honed at some of America’s finest restaurants before opening The Little Owl (and sibs Market Table NYC and The Clam).

A recent menu this summer featured: Corn Soup with lobster and poblano chiles, Asparagus Salad grilled with lemon caper vinaigrette, Ricotta Cavatelli with prosciutto, peas, pecorino and tomato basil broth, Grilled Scallops with avocado mousse, salsa fresca and crispy leeks, Watermelon & Tomato Salad with ice wine vinegar, extra virgin, onion and feta cheese, Arugula & Fig Salad with peaches, onion and robiola fettunta, Gravy Meatball Slider (a house favorite), Spinach Risotto with local strawberries and pignoli balsamic, Summer Squash Provençal with roasted tomato, capers, olives and fine herbs, and Baked Eggplant Parmigiana for starters and small plates.

Featured entrees included: Crispy Chicken with asparagus home fries, lemon, sherry and dijon, Broiled Nova Scotia Halibut with English peas and roasted corn salad, and pesto vinaigrette, Grilled Arctic Char with baby bok choy, champagne dijon sauce and potato roost, Filleted Whole Fish with herb marinated cucumbers, olives and heirloom tomatoes, Spiced New York Strip with parsnip purée, pancetta, radicchio and balsamic, Block Island Sword Fish with sweet – spicy escarole and calamari stew, Pork Chop & Butter Beans with parmesan and wild dandelion, American Lamb Chops with fontina fondue. It is no wonder this little spot has such a loyal following! The Little Owl has been awarded the Fred Bollaci Enterprises Golden Palate Certificate of Excellence!
