Business Partners and brothers, Chris and Peter Sereno discovered Naples in 1988 as the perfect place to open their first joint venture, Maxwell’s on the Bay. Seeking a waterfront setting, the Serenos chose the beautiful, upscale Village on Venetian Bay as the site and built a very successful and popular landmark restaurant. After celebrating 20 years as Maxwell’s, they chose to redesign and update the concept, and in 2008, reopened as M Waterfront Grille with a complete transformation of the dining areas, innovative new menus and expanded wine library, with the same quality cuisine, service, and excellent views that keep savvy diners coming back! The family also owns the renowned National Hotel on Block Island, Rhode Island.
Executive Chef Adam Nardis was born in Painesville, Ohio. His passion for food began almost instantly being born into an Italian family that considered cooking to be an essential part of everyday life. Growing up in such a family myself, there was nothing more important or enjoyable than Sunday dinner with family, and to holidays and celebrations. Chef Adam was taught sustainability in agriculture as a way of life and to accept no substitutes for quality. Adam enrolled in the University of Akron School of Culinary Arts in 2003 and simultaneously accepted a job at the acclaimed Ferrante Vineyard in Geneva, Ohio. After graduating, he became Chef at the National Hotel on Block Island in Rhode Island before coming to Naples, where he worked for Maxwell’s and subsequently M Waterfront Grille.
