Nachtmann Aspen Smash
2 ounces Stranahan’s Colorado Whiskey
1/2 ounce Leopold Bros. Maraschino Liqueur
6 sprigs of mint
2 lime wedges
1 1/2 ounces sweet and sour*
Muddle mint and lime in a cocktail shaker. Add whiskey, maraschino liqueur, and sweet and sour to shaker and shake vigorously. Strain into a Nachtmann Aspen tumbler filled with crushed ice and garnish with a mint bouquet and lemon wheel.
For Sweet and Sour: Combine one-and-a-half cups hot water, one-and-a-half cups sugar, one cup fresh lemon juice, and one cup fresh lime juice in a large glass pitcher or jar. Stir and cool before use. Note: may wish to substitute sugar with agave nectar for dietary reasons.
