Rubirosa is known for some of the best artisanal pizzas in NYC!
Rubirosa is Giuseppe Pappalardo’s family-run neighborhood Italian-American restaurant and pizzeria. His son Aj’s lifelong dream was to bring his father’s 56 year-old thin-crust pizza recipe to New York City. The family recipe originated in 1960 at Joe and Pat’s Pizzeria in Staten Island. The flagship pizza at Rubirosa is complimented with Italian-American classics featuring a wide array of pastas made fresh in-house daily. Rubirosa features a unique Italian-focused wine, cocktail and spirits program. Located in the heart of Nolita, its clientele bridges the gap between the old and new neighborhood regulars. Rubirosa’s homey and comfortable atmosphere welcomes every occasion, from family-style group dining to drinks and antipasti at the cozy bar, and has been awarded the Fred Bollaci Enterprises Golden Palate Certificate of Excellence!.

Just in case you wanted something other than Pizza, Rubirosa has you covered–try a Sliced NY Strip Steak cooked to perfection!
Although famous for pizza, seafood also shines!
Perhaps the most famous thing at Rubirosa is the “Tie-Dye” Pizza, essentially a Margherita with Pesto, making a delicious and beautifully cool presentation!
