Owned by Craig & Samantha Cordts-Pearce, Steak House No. 316 is an intimate Aspen steak house catering to all, from meat lovers to seafood lovers to veggie lovers. The restaurant is part of the CP Group, including The Monarch, The Wild Fig, and CP Burger.

Start with Beef Carpaccio, Grilled Artichoke with remoulade and grilled lemon, Lulu’s Kale Salad with currants, pine nuts, olive oil, and parmesan, Soft Shell Crab Salad with butter lettuce, radish, sprouts, sweet potato chips, hush puppies, sweet pickles, and golden goddess dressing (really could be an entree) Moules Frites, Tuna Tartare with green peppercorn crème fraiche, micro cilantro, basil pesto, and crostini, Oysters Rockefeller, or chilled fresh shellfish and seafood.

Entrees naturally gravitate towards great steaks with a variety of house made sauces and sides. American Kobe Flat Iron Steak, and Prime Cuts, including a New York Strip, Filet, Cowboy Ribeye, and Porterhouse, as well as Rack of Lamb. Add any of the following to your steak: Lobster Tail, Crab Cake, King Crab Legs, or Lobster Oscar.
The fresh seafood certainly stands up to the great beef. Try the Whole Dover Sole, Halibut with sauce verse, white asparagus, seasonal mushrooms, and potato crisp, or Verlasso Salmon with heirloom cherry tomato confit, dill, fennel salad, and fresh horseradish vinaigrette.
