Sarasota needed an authentic Bolognese ristorante, with pasta freshly made daily, especially the famed Tortellini for which the restaurant is named, a staple of life in Bologna and the province of Emilia-Romagna, where Chef-Owner Leonardo Pierucci is from.
Spinach Lasagna (Lasagna Verde) Bolognese, with Bechamel, Bolognese meat sauce, and Parmigiano Reggiano is a classic from Bologna and Emilia Romagna. Here, they are served baked in individual casserole dishes.
