“Over the past three and a half years, I have had the privilege and honor to bring to fruition a lifelong dream of sharing my experience and knowledge of the finest hotels and restaurants with the world. I have had the honor of visiting hundreds of great establishments and developing, trademarking, and awarding my highly recognized Golden Palate Certificate of Excellence to several hundred deserving hotels and restaurants worldwide, in addition to many Preferred Destinations. I developed the Platinum Palate program to recognize a handful of establishments that are in a class by themselves, that take everything the Golden Palate is about–hands on, dedicated ownership and staff, exceptional service, gourmet cuisine, healthy options both relating to cuisine and amenities and services that reflect a healthy lifestyle–to the next level! It is my honor and privilege to welcome these new Members of my Platinum Palate family, the very best of the very best worldwide. It has been a lifelong dream to share my passion and knowledge gained from visiting countless exceptional establishments over the course of more than three decades with my fans and followers so that they too will have a vetted, authoritative reference point on where to stay and dine.”Now, discerning travelers have a vetted, definitive reference to guide them straight to the very best.”

The elegant, oceanfront Eau Palm Beach, already a Forbes Five Star recipient (for both the hotel and spa), as well as a AAA Five Diamond award-winner can add this prestigious honor to its list of well-deserved accolades, as the first establishment in Palm Beach County to achieve this honor. The Royal Blues Hotel and Chanson Restaurant, Florida’s only Relais & Chateaux property overlooks the Ocean near the Deerfield Beach pier and offers 12 oceanfront guest rooms and suites with exceptional service. Plans are in the works for a spa and additional guest rooms next door. The Gasparilla Inn & Club is a timeless example of Old World Florida elegance, welcoming well-heeled guests since 1913! Today, the impeccably maintained and restored resort features gourmet dining, excellent service, and a variety of recreational amenities, and is the perfect family getaway! “All three properties are family owned, and the dedication and professionalism of the ownership and staff sets there properties apart from the many other excellent establishments in Florida,” Bollaci said.

To date, there are three Platinum Palate restaurants in the U.S. (Donatello in Tampa, FL, The Golden Pear Cafe in the Hamptons, NY, and The Perfect Wife in Manchester, VT), and Toscana Saporita Cooking School in Italy. “I expect there will likely be ultimately be several dozen Platinum Palate hotels and restaurants in the U.S., as well as in Italy, and eventually in other markets,” Bollaci said. “It will depend on the establishments–they have to earn it, and take being great, hands-on, dedicated and treating their customers like family to the next level.”
Bollaci’s Golden Palate column in the Winter 2016-17 issue of Venu Magazine coincides with this anticipated official announcement, and also welcomes new Charter Members, Osteria Tulia/Bar Tulia (renowned Chef Vincenzo Betulia in Naples, FL), and Charter Member the Hilton at Resorts World Bimini in the Bahamas. “Charter Members are the key brand ambassadors of the Golden Palate lifestyle,” Bollaci said.
