Author Fred Bollaci enjoyed attending the annual Paradise Coast Food & Wine Festival in Naples, Florida last week, in conjunction with two scheduled book signing events in town for “The Restaurant Diet.” Bollaci met with renowned Italian-American Chef Scott Conant at the festival, where he presented Conant with a signed copy of “The Restaurant Diet.” The pair discussed their shared Italian-American heritage and upbringing as related to food. Several dozen restaurants from the Greater Naples area were featured at the festival, in addition to wineries, local craft beer, and live music in Cambier Park. The weather was gorgeous. “I look forward to returning to the festival next year,” Bollaci said. “Naples is an extremely important market for what I do, and it is always a pleasure checking out new restaurants and visiting old favorites.” There are six Naples restaurants featured in “The Restaurant Diet” with recipes, including Bleu Provence, Osteria Tulia, The French Brasserie Rustique, Bice, Truluck’s, and Ocean Prime.
