Palm Beach: Pizza Al Fresco for Perfetto Neapolitan-Style Pizza

photo 4

In Palm Beach, Pizza Al Fresco, sibling of renowned Italian restaurant Renato’s (around the corner) features authentic Neapolitan-style pizzas with a variety of excellent, fresh toppings and a beautiful, private courtyard for “al fresco” dining reminiscent of Capri and the Amalfi Coast in Italy. (Above:The signature “Pizza al Fresco” with arugula, tomato, prosciutto, and shaved Parmigiano). Pizza al Fresco is a LOT more than just pizza, featuring an extensive menu with many classic and inspired dishes, including starters, salads, pastas, seafood, veal, and chicken. Pizza al Fresco opened in 2001 in this beautiful spot which was the courtyard of famed Palm Beach architect Addison Mizner’s home back in the 1920’s when he designed many of the Mediterranean-style buildings and mansions that have made Palm Beach world famous for its “Mizner style” architecture. Renato’s. Both Pizza Al Fresco and Renato’s are Fred Bollaci Enterprises Golden Palate Partners™ having been awarded the Golden Palate Certificate of Excellence, recognizing the finest establishments worldwide.

The restaurant serves lunch and dinner 7 days a week in a casual, sophisticated family-friendly environment from 11AM-10PM, including brunch items on Sunday, and features an extensive menu of creative, delicious pizzas, pastas, salads, as well as entrees, including one of my favorite fish dishes in Palm Beach, the Dentice con Carciofi (Snapper with white wine, capers, and artichoke hearts). Pizza Al Fresco is a favorite for “Pizza Party” birthdays, and is pet friendly, even hosting a number of “Pet Parties” for pampered Palm Beach area pooches! (I’ll have to bring Charlie and Teddy, my two dogs would love dining at Pizza al Fresco!)

The decadent “Nutella Pizza” is a favorite for kids (young and old), another reason Pizza al Fresco is a top spot for birthday and “pizza parties.”

Fred with General Manager Javier in the beautiful “al fresco” courtyard. Javier is a class act, he and his staff go out of their way to see that diners feel at home and enjoy their experience! This combination of consistently excellent food, service, and a great ambience keeps people coming back! Remember, In Palm Beach Pizza al Fresco also delivers locally and is a popular spot for carry-out on the Island as well. See you in Palm Beach, and please tell Javier and the folks at Pizza al Fresco that Fred Bollaci sent you!
