Apollonia Grill, a relative newcomer to the Sarasota area dining scene, opened it’s doors in 2013 bringing Award winning Mediterranean Cuisine to the neighborhoods around University Town Center and Lakewood Ranch in North Sarasota.
Apollonia focuses on quality Greek and Mediterranean cuisine and is an ideal place for a casual, comfortable meal, or a special occasion with family or friends. From the flaming Saganaki, to the exceptional seafood specials, great salads, chicken, lamb, meat, and classic Greek and Mediterranean specialties, this is definitely a place you will want to try!
Pictured are the side Greek Salad (quite colorful and flavorful), the Grouper Florentine (Excellent), and a nightly special on a recent visit, a whole Mediterranean Branzino, stuffed with lemon and herbs (rosemary, et al), and baked, served with vegetables, feta coated greens, and a lemon-evoo-herb dip. It was an excellent meal! The restaurant has a good wine list, and a full service bar, and also offers a reasonable ($10) corkage.
